Aren't dry fruits good for health?

Yes, dry fruits are good for health. They are an enriched source of vitamins.

Dry fruits are richer in energy than their fresh counterparts. This is because in the process of drying, much of the water gets evaporated. This concentrates the calorie content of fruits. Taking dry fruits in large amounts on a regular basis can lead to quick weight gain.

Recent studies indicate that eating nuts more than five times a week could bring down mortality rates in apparently healthy individuals by 25 to 40%.
